I was coming back from school. In the rain, that started raining while my last lesson this day. It was raining pretty hard, so I quickly soaked. I saw that coming a tram and that id a green light for pedestrians, so I started to run as fast as I could, so that I could go across the street to the tram stop before the light turns red. And suddenly – my left shoe fell out of my foot. First I wanted to go after it, but then the light turned red and the cars immediately started to drive. I could only get away on the sidewalk, one shoe on, one shoe off. I stood there, with one sneaker and soaked through olive sock on my left other foot. I no longer thought about catching the tram. Somebody said, “”What bad luck!”” Someone else, some kid from my school, he began to laugh and said, “”Hey, Cinderella-boy, you have lost something!””. Finally, again I had the green light, and I could recover my lost shoe. But it was completely destroyed and unwearable, so I went back to the tram stop. I rode home by the next tram, wearing one gray sneaker and only an olive sock on my left foot. Others stared at my feet all the time.
