I went to go walk around in my socks one night. I took a Bus to this apartment complex that was about 15 minutes from my house. I thoroughly enjoy doing this and it’s pretty addicting. I got to the front of the complex and walked in to the front. I walked over to the door that led to a set of apartments. I quietly opened the door and walked in. I slid my loafers off and left them in a corner by the door in plain view. I find it thrilling to leave my shoes and make my way through out the complex in my stocking feet and come back to the entrance. Sometimes someone will have snagged your shoes or moved them By the time u get back resulting in you going home in your socks. Depending on the time of day it’s almost guaranteed someone will snag your shoes. I went at night this time and it wasn’t as busy. I slowly walked off peering back at my shoes. I slowly ascended a flight of stairs in my stockings and by the time I had made it to the third floor my socks were black on the bottom. I kept walking and ran into a older women wallking with her dog . She smiled and glanced at my socks. They were filthy at this point and I was pretty embarrassed but I said hi and kept walking. Going up more stairs I was almost at the 8th floor and as I was walking out of the stairs a elevator door opened and a couple highschoolers walked out of the elevator and one of them was carrying my loafers. I froze as they walked past me. One of them snickered as he walked by and stared at my dirty torn socked feet. I couldn’t beleive it and I at first I didn’t . I kept saying those weren’t my shoes. I stood there a bit longer and made my way down the stairs and got to the lobby expecting to find my shoes in the corner nice and safe but as i turned the corner my shoes were not where I had left them. For some reason I was shocked and looked around the hallway and walked out front to see if they had been tossed out. But those boys really snagged my loafers. I went back to the bustop and waited on the bus. I rode the bus all the way home in my socks. Many on lookers stared at my dirty soles. It was quite embarrassing.
