The bully

Author – Roper

I hate a bully more than anything maybe because I have been on the receiving side more than once I’m a little guy for my age we have a few bullies in my school I know I can’t beat them in a toe to toe fight but I don’t have to let them win, The tell an adult thing, I’m not in to.

It makes it worse in my country boy world, you deal with things yourself and this is how I dealt with mine:
This new guy started my school, from his first day he just singled me out for some reason. He would trip me, bump in to me walking down the hall, push my stuff off my desk as he walked by. I ask him what his problem was he said I don’t like you.
This went on from the first day he started. He is like 6” tall and 190lbs. I’m like 5”6’ and a 100 lbs. At lunch we can eat outside at the picnic tables my teacher had what they call lunch room duty, so my class got out early for lunch I grabbed my lunch and went out to get a table for me and my friends. I see the bully coming He sees me at the picnic table eating lunch, I had my foot on the seat/beach on the opposite side He walks over and sits down and told me to move the foot or lose the boot so I moved my foot but he keeps on being mouthy grabs half my fries tried to push my cup off the table. Then he kicked my foot
it was on the ground under the table and said I told you to move that foot are lose that boot, you must want to lose it bad. I told him I did move my foot. He said I told you move your foot, I finally got pissed and put my foot in his lap under the table and he grabbed my boot I pulled my foot out of my boot before he could pull it off me I got up, and hopped to building missing my right boot and went to the lunch room my friends were there and we decided to just eat inside. After the bell rang, I headed to class. I got to B hall and my bully was coming down the hall He just walked past me never said a word are for once didn’t push me. After school I was heading to the bus and he was already there I hopped by him and got on the bus he just looked at me and still never said a word. May have not been the best way but he left me alone

Give us your money, and your nike

Author – Mark

My teacher sent me to the park to take pictures for her class during lunch, I had been there about a half hour and I had taken about 20 pictures and these three guys came up and ask if they could see the pictures
I showed them, and they talked about how good they were. I was worried they were going to steal the camera it belongs to the school. They were in high school I think, I’m in middle school
After about 5 minutes the guys walked off, so I went back to taking pictures. The guys came back and ask for $10.00. I told them I didn’t have $10.00. One of the guys said well how much money do you have. I don’t have money. They walked off a few minutes later they came back and said We know you have money. I told them I didn’t have any money. One of the guys said give us your Nikes then. I tried to walk off and they surrounded me, and He said give us $10.00 we seen you at the store before school you had a twenty. I told them I had to pay a lunch bill at school. He said the Nikes are the money. They grabbed me and went to take my Nikes off me I tried to stop them jerk my legs back, but my right Nike came off I yelled ok I’ll give it to you. They stopped. I reached in my pocket and took my money out and said all I have is $5.00. One of the guys said we told you $10.00. I don’t have $10.00. He looked at me and said then you don’t have a Nike. I told them I really don’t have any more. He said sorry it is $5.00 a Nike. They walked off with my right Nike. I sit there watching them walk off tossing my Nike back and forth.

I walked back to school missing my right Nike it was kind of exciting I had to spend the rest of the school day wearing one Nike and my sock after school I walked home real slow knowing I was in trouble with my stepdad. Looking down the whole time at my sock foot. I git home and my stepdad surprised me he wasn’t mad he said at least they didn’t take that camera. He said I would have to wear one shoe till his next payday. I ask him when that was he said I get paid bi-weekly and just got paid five days ago it will be 9 days. He said that is the best I can do sorry, I went back to the park today after school and the three guys where there and one of them said I seen you wore one Nike to school today. I told them I had $5.00 if I could have my Nike back I would go get it. One of them said we tossed it in the pond your out of luck. It is kind of exciting for some reason getting dressed and putting on my socks and knowing I only have one Nike and have to go to school.

Shoes stolen at school

Author – Martin

I have had my shoes taken or stolen plenty of times. Most of these were when I was in high school. Our school uniform consisted of a white button up shirt and navy shorts, with an optional tie. We were required to wear white socks and black shoes. A lot of the boys wore black skate shoes.

It was my third day at school the first time my shoes were taken. It was a lunch break and I was on my own, walking through the outdoor area. I am always quite neatly presented, and had my nice clean shirt tucked in to my shorts as per school rules. I was wearing a pair of black Globe shoes with my white crew length socks.

I was considering where to have lunch when I felt a hard pull on my backpack. I was yanked backwards into a taller guy. He was in a group of four older boys at the school. They had a more scruffy appearance – their shirts were definitely not tucked in.

“Hey, new kid. Look at you, all nice and tidy”, one of them taunted.
“He’s got his shirt tucked in and everything”, said another.
“It would be a shame if he got all dirty!” exclaimed another. The group all laughed.

Suddenly, I was pulled backwards much harder by my backpack. I felt a hard push from behind, and I fell to the dirt. I was held down on the ground and I felt each of my shoes being pulled off my feet. The boys were laughing. I heard one of them say “let’s throw him in the bin!”.

I felt myself being lifted up to my feet. I was pushed forwards towards a tall green wheelie bin. I was stumbling across the ground as I was being pushed closer. I felt myself being lifted up and was dropped head first into the bin. I heard the lid slam down after me, and the boys laughing. I stayed quiet amongst the rubbish, and I heard the boys laughter fade away into the distance.

After a few minutes, I knew that I needed to get out of the bin. I pushed against one of the sides. I felt the bin tip, and it hit the ground on it’s side. I slowly slid out of the bin and stood up. I must have looked quite a sight – my shirt was all dirty and pulled out, and my shorts were stained. The bottoms of my white socks were dirty from the ground.

I looked around for my shoes, but I could not see them. I started walking across the dirt and grass in my socks looking for any sign of them. After walking around for about 10 minutes, I found my shoes inside another bin. I was relieved, as I knew that my white socks were getting dirtier and dirtier. I quickly slipped my shoes on to my socked feet and raced away to class, hoping that I would not run into those guys again.
