A couple of years ago I was in London for the day, having gone there by train, about sixty miles. I had dressed quite well, wearing grey trousers, light grey socks and black loafers. I always wear loafers on long train journeys because I like to shoeplay on the train, in restaurants etc. I have several times lost a loafer on the London underground, but have usually got it back. This time I survived intact until I was standing in Trafalgar Square wondering where to go next. I had a magazine giving all the information on theatres, shows etc., and I was looking at this leaning against railings round a building. It wasn’t long before I had slipped my heel out of my right loafer and was playing with it. At that moment some boys on skateboards came whizzing by and one of them just hit me sending me sideways. I recovered and looked around for my shoe but couldn’t see it. The building had a basement and I looked down and saw my shoe down there, about twenty feet below me. I could see that there was a gate in the railings so I went and tried it to see if it would open, but it was locked. I could see a police van parked on one side of the square so I went over to it, getting a few strange looks from people. The van was a mobile information centre so I went in and explained what had happened. The officer asked which building it was; perhaps one of them could get access and get my shoe back, but when I told them which building it was they said they couldn’t do anything because it was the Canadian Embassy so was Canadian soil and they could not enter. The only answer was to telephone the embassy and explain the situation. They could recover the shoe and send it to Canada and they would send it in a Diplomatic Bag to the British Embassy who would send it back to England.
There was nothing I could do. I decided that that was not worth the effort, and in any case I would be without a shoe for the rest of the day. I decided that there wasn’t much I could do. The thing was, did I still wear the left shoe, or did I take it off and walk in my socks! I decided to keep it on, so plucking up courage I walked off with one shoe on getting more funny looks. It gave me a thrill walking around in public like that and it wasn’t long before I started getting aroused. I went to a restaurant for something to eat and the waiter immediately noticed that I was missing a shoe and I had to explain that I had lost it. He couldn’t believe it, and that I had to travel home like that. I got a bus back to the station, then the train home. A lot of people noticed, which got me excited and aroused. It was quite an evening!
